Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer Assessments
You will be presented with a series of paragraphs which you will be required to read and then answer questions. Your options will be True, False or Cannot Tell. This psychometric test will be assessing your analytical skills. You will be timed and so ensuring that you balance your time between reading the passages and answering the questions is important. Freshfields use SHL as their test provider.
This will involve analysing material. You will be given 45 minutes to read a given text and will be then expected to analyse the writing and produce redrafted sections and highlighted errors. You will be assessed on how you deal with the information provided and how you analyse literature.
Case Study Interview
You will be expected to read materials provided, usually in the form of a case study, and then be interviewed by the assessor who will ask you various questions relating to the topic provided. It is important to make sure you are aware of the values of the organisation as well as their history and how they deal with clients. The questions are likely to include broader topics so preparation is key.
This will be like a general interview where they could ask a number of different questions relating to your competencies, past work experience and general life experience. You are also likely to have to answer a number of law related questions so ensure to be completely calm and aware during the interview.
