Nvidia online application

The first part of the process is the online application. Candidates search for their desired position on Nvidia’s careers page, which they can refine by job category, location, job type etc. Once a candidate has decided on the position they would like to pursue, they will need to submit an online application.

The online application form will begin by asking candidates for some personal details, such as your address and contact number, followed by your work experience and education.

After this, you will need to upload your resume, which should detail your work experience, your education, and any other qualifications and skills which make you a suitable candidate. It’s also advisable to take a look at the job description and tailor your resume to the requirements of the position.

After uploading your resume, you need to answer some questions about your right to work in the country, gender, ethnicity, etc.

Once you’ve submitted your application you will typically hear from the recruiting team within two weeks.

There is no limit to the number of positions you can apply to. However, Nvidia advises you to stick to three to five of the most relevant roles for you, so you have the best chance of being considered.

Nvidia interviews

If your application is successful, you will be advanced to the next stage of the application process, which consists of varying types of interviews. The number of interviews you have will depend on the position you are applying to.

During the interviews, you will meet with the hiring manager, team members, and employees from other groups, which may be via phone, video or in person. Nvidia will be looking for evidence that you will fit in well with the company culture at Nvidia, so ensure you are familiar with the company’s mission and values.

Nvidia pre-screening interview

The first interview is typically a screening interview via telephone, where you will be asked basic questions regarding your background, skills, and experience. You should also use this as an opportunity to ask any questions you may have and learn more about the role.

Nvidia telephone interview

If you are successful, you will be invited to another phone interview with the hiring manager. This interview will delve further into your technical skills, experience, and personality.

Nvidia technical interview

After this, you may be invited to a final technical interview, which will test your abilities on things like systems architecture and C fundamentals.

Nvidia on-site interview

Success at this interview will lead to an invitation to an on-site interview, which can take up to five hours to complete. The day will consist of around five interviews, which will test you on technical knowledge such as data structures and algorithms.

Nvidia HR interview

You will also likely have an additional HR interview, which will assess whether your behavioural characteristics match the requirements of the role.

Nvidia Aptitude Tests

Nvidia coding exercise

If you are applying for a technical role, you will be asked to complete a coding exercise during the interview process. This is usually completed by Hackerrank, on a whiteboard or laptop provided by Nvidia, and is used to identify if you have the technical skills to be successful in the role.

Nvidia logical reasoning test

You may be required to complete a logical reasoning test as part of the assessment process. Logical reasoning tests assess your ability to analyse and interpret abstract information and use logic to come to a conclusion. These tests are used to measure your problem-solving skills under pressure, which is a valuable skill at Nvidia.

The best way to prepare for logical reasoning tests is to practice sample questions. This will help familiarize yourself with the questions and become accustomed to working under time pressure.

Magnificient

It was an really excellent set of questions that focused on the abstract thinking and it was really easy for someone who can visualize or connect the dots, or to say, someone who can see them in animated vision can easily solve these set of questions.
