BT Aptitude Tests
BT Numerical Reasoning Tests
BT’s numerical reasoning test comprises of 20 questions to be answered in 20 minutes. They relate to graphs, percentages and tables whereby you will be asked to analyse data and chose from a set of multiple choice answers.
These are designed to test your numerical abilities. It is advisable to practice these before taking the tests in order to get the timing correct.
BT Group Exercise
The group exercise demonstrates how you work and perform in a team. The group will be presented with information, including a number of issues and you will need to produce solutions.
Ensure to find a balance between speaking up and making your point but without dominating the group. You must show the assessor that you can work well in any situation, especially within a team as that is something that will be expected of you at the company.
BT Presentation
You’ll be given information relating to the role that you are applying for, which you’ll be asked to prepare a presentation on, to be given in front of one of the assessors. You will then be required to answer questions in order to demonstrate your knowledge of the company and how you would work under pressure. Your presentation and analytical skills will also be tested.
BT Case Study
You’ll have to undertake a form of written exercise where you will be given materials to read and then provide an analysis. This will be to assess your written and communication skills as well analytical.
It is important for this exercise to have a clear understanding of the company’s morals and values, as well as how the organisation is run. Background knowledge is vital for the case study exercise.

One should understand the percentage and ratios
I like how this test was more towards numbers but in all the questions it's just that it could be so much more.
Need a better calculator, work faster
Need to have a hand held calculator; might be worth computing sums to save time in other questions; need to be confident with ratios (1:x)
