What is a Talogy assessment?
A Talogy assessment is any test from Talogy, the publisher formed in 2022 when PSI Talent Management united its acquired brands, including Cubiks and Caliper, under one name. Candidates most often sit a Logiks ability test, such as Logiks General Intermediate with 50 verbal, numerical and abstract questions in 12 minutes, or an untimed personality questionnaire such as PAPI or the Caliper Profile.

What is Talogy?
Talogy is the assessment publisher formed in March 2022 when PSI Talent Management brought its acquired brands, including Cubiks, Caliper, a&dc and Select International, together under one name. Its roots go back to 1946, and today it delivers more than 30 million assessments a year for over 10,000 organisations across 160 countries. If your invitation mentions Talogy, Cubiks or Logiks, you are sitting the same family of tests: the Cubiks products now live under the Talogy brand.
Logiks ability tests
The test most Talogy candidates sit is Logiks General. At Intermediate level it packs 50 questions into 12 minutes, split into three separately timed sections: 24 verbal questions, 16 numerical and 10 abstract, each section with 4 minutes. That works out at roughly 14 seconds per question, so speed matters as much as accuracy.
Logiks General Advanced, used for graduate and professional roles, gives 30 questions in 20 minutes: 12 verbal in 8 minutes, 8 numerical in 8 minutes and 10 abstract in 4 minutes. Standalone Logiks Advanced tests also exist for single subjects, with more questions and longer time limits per test.
Personality questionnaires
Talogy’s main personality measures are untimed. PAPI 3 presents 162 work-related statements which you rate on a 1 to 7 agree or disagree scale, building a picture of your workplace preferences. The Caliper Profile is longer: 98 questions taking around an hour, measuring 21 personality traits and including some abstract reasoning items. Neither has right or wrong answers, but knowing the formats in advance makes them far less draining on the day.
Other Talogy assessments
Depending on the role you may also meet a situational judgement test or Mindgage, Talogy’s game-based cognitive assessment built from short, largely non-verbal modules. These follow the same principle as the rest of the range: measured performance under unfamiliar formats, which practice makes familiar.
How to prepare
Start with timed logical reasoning practice to get used to the Logiks rhythm of quick, clean decisions, then add numerical and verbal drills at the same pace. For the personality questionnaires, take an untimed practice test first so the statement-rating format holds no surprises.
