The DSI test is used to identify candidates, who will have a good attendance record, are focused on quality and customer service, are reliable and are positive team members. It also predicts candidates who are less accident prone in safety critical environments. It’s typically done online and takes no longer than 5-6 minutes to complete. The test will measure the likelihood that the candidate will:
- Check their work thoroughly
- Handle conflict effectively
- Arrive to work on time
- Handle stressful situations well
- Keep an even temper
- Be confident in their own abilities
- Self-motivate
- Return from breaks on time
- Take safety seriously
These tests are commonly used for roles in retail, production, call centres, manufacturing and transportation. They consist of 18 questions and are often the first part of the screening process when recruiting for a role.
